Become a Community Partner

We are excited to invite you to become a Community Partner at our upcoming "Longest Day of Play" event on June 20, 2025. Your organization has been identified as a valuable contributor to the community, and we believe your involvement would add an extra layer of excitement and enrichment to this day dedicated to kids' health and well-being.

What's in Store for You:

🚀 Sponsor a Station: As a Community Partner, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your organization by sponsoring a station at our event located at 909 West Jefferson Street, LaGrange, KY. This is a fantastic platform to engage with the community, raise awareness about your mission, and connect with families.  (See detailed information below.)

👥 Share Information: Educate and inspire! Use your station to share valuable information about your organization's goals, services, and impact on the community. This is a unique chance to create awareness and foster a sense of community well-being.

🌟 Provide an Activity for the Kids: Make a lasting impression by organizing a fun and interactive activity for the kids. Whether it's a fun activity like hula-hoop, a game, or a physical challenge, your contribution will add to the joy and playfulness of the day.  (We can give you some ideas if you are having a hard time coming up with an activity.)

🌞 Be Recognized as a Community Partner: Your commitment to the event will be acknowledged and recognized as a Community Partner in our promotional materials. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your dedication to the community and its well-being.

How to Confirm Your Participation:  If you're ready to join us in making the Longest Day of Play truly special, please confirm your participation by June 1st. Follow this link https://forms.gle/F9NU3MGGVD5yAXLa9 and complete the online form to become a community partner. We will provide you with all the necessary details, including station logistics and event schedule.  You can contact us directly at (502) 222-9925 or by emailing lotsmoore@gmail.com

Thank you for considering this invitation. We believe your involvement will contribute significantly to the success of our event and, more importantly, to the well-being of the children in our community.  Let's make this day unforgettable together!

Sponsoring a Station

What you need to know and do:

  • You will be assigned a spot along the 1/2 mile course. There will not be electricity for most of the spots.  If you need power, please contact us with your needs, and we will work to provide you with a spot where you can be accommodated.

  • You will need to provide any supplies for your station (table, chairs, tent, supplies for games or activities).  Covenant Church can assist with some supplies like tables, but we ask that you make that request by June 15th.

  • If you don’t have supplies or an activity for the children that stop at your station, please reach out and let us help.  We have lots of ideas and equipment that we would be happy to lend you.

  • Setup will be from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, but all vehicles must be off the lawn or parked by 5:50 pm.  Vehicles will not be allowed to move on the lawn again until after the finish at 9:09 p.m.

  • Please share lots of information about your organization with kids and parents.  People love free giveaways and merchandise.  Because this is a health event for kids, please don’t hand out candy or unhealthy food items.

  • Encourage your staff to engage and play with the kids.  Think of it as both show and tell.

  • Activities should be targeted at children in kindergarten through the fifth grade.  We expect both younger and older children to participate, but our target group is elementary students.  But keep in mind how a younger or older child could participate by making it easier or harder.

  • Have fun!  Enjoy this time engaging with kids and families in our community.
